Well, I should have done a *little* more research on this place before I booked it. The overworked staff tried their best to be accommodating but they did not have much to work with. I would be ashamed to have any association to this place. I was made to feel like a liar and was only vindicated once the manager called the airline to confirm that indeed my meals should be covered. There was no bottled water to be had anywhere at the hotel! What sealed it for me was the attempt by the manager to charge me an exorbitant price for a meal which the airline had agreed to comp. I asked where I could get a bottle of water and was told to take a bus to a nearby village that had a grocery store.
The food options were worse than cafeteria fare. There seemed to be limited staff working at this establishment. I think the only people at the hotel were the unfortunate patrons who missed their connecting flights. In hindsight, I should have paid out of pocket to stay elsewhere. I stayed here for two nights courtesy of an airline that was late causing me to miss my connecting flight.
